Hobbies/Interests: Exercise/Teaching Aerobics, enjoying every minute that my kids want to spend with their dad & me, playing tennis/basketball/soccer (although I’m not great at any of them).

For as long as I can remember I have been surrounded by God’s grace and mercy and have never doubted His love for me. I’m your optimistic, glass half full kind of girl. That’s not to say there aren’t times when I feel the world is caving in on me or times when my take-charge, be-in-control personality interferes with letting God be the one in control. This happens; sometimes A LOT! I find peace in knowing that God has not given up on me. Even when I make mistakes and disappoint God, He still loves me. Knowing that makes me want to try harder so that I grow and mature in my service to Him. As I pray for his guidance, sometimes it seems that situations become more difficult instead of feeling resolved. As this happens it would be easy to feel that I have been abandoned by God, that I’m walking alone; but that’s not what’s going on. That feeling is me holding on, trying to be in control and not surrendering to God.
